Guidance, Care & Community for Families

The Family Advocacy Program provides intensive home visiting services for parents who are seeking out parenting support, active with DCFS and/or have children who are identified as at risk for or foster care. Family Advocates are professional parent educators who teach basic living and parenting skills in the home setting in addition to connecting families to various community resources and supports.

The Incredible Years® is a proven, research-based program for parents of children ages 1–8. Through weekly group sessions, parents learn positive discipline, communication skills, and ways to manage challenging behaviors.

A four-week infant care class for pregnant women, partners, and families.  Case management and counseling is offered to all birth parents and their families.  Following the birth of the baby, new parents meet with the case manager in the home setting and can receive individual counseling as requested.

Healthy Start is a community-based program that supports expecting parents and families with young children, ensuring every child has the best possible beginning.

We offer free, in-home, personalized support including prenatal education, parenting resources, health screenings, and connections to local services. Our goal is to promote healthy pregnancies, strengthen families, and help children grow and thrive.
