A Culture of Quality and Caring

At Catholic Charities of Onondaga County, everything we do, all of our efforts are about making sure that the Point of Contact, where a Catholic Charities employee interacts with a person served, a coworker, a donor, or a volunteer, is effective, high quality, relevant, and addresses the individual’s needs. We care deeply about the work that we perform in service to others. We believe that we must bring comfort and relief to those who are struggling and in pain, that we must instill hope and that we must act as instruments of change for those served, which will eventually lead to a higher level of functioning.

All employees, leaders, board members, and volunteers play an integral role in the success of our compliance program, and the way in which we value compliance at our agency.

A Culture of Philanthropy

At Catholic Charities of Onondaga County all employees are ambassadors for the organization’s mission and service. Everyone, regardless of position is encouraged to share stories with each other, volunteers, donors and development staff, and help cultivate positive relationships on behalf of and in support of the agency in a way that is position appropriate.
