With your generous support, we create hope and provide direct assistance to over 400 Syracuse families every holiday season through our Christmas Program! The Christmas Program runs solely on the support of your donations. Here are a few ways to get involved:
- Gift Items: Donations of new toys, clothing and outerwear can be brought to our House of Providence headquarters at 1654 West Onondaga Street. Please deliver gifts without wrapping.
- Gift cards from any local chain grocery store, Walmart or Target are welcome.
- Checks can be mailed to 1654 West Onondaga St, Syracuse, NY 13204, to ensure success of the program and to support families throughout the year.Â
- Give online
Thanks to your contributions, we’re able to provide:
- Gift cards to parents to shop for food and toys for their families.
- Presents for senior citizens at our Senior Center and residents of our emergency shelters.
- Christmas parties for our neighborhood centers and gifts for children in our pre-k and after-school programs.
- Bus passes for clients to go shopping or visit family during the holidays.
- Outreach to facilitate participation in the Christmas Bureau, a community-wide partnership that provides food for Christmas dinners and gifts for children under 16.
