Next week we will be celebrating our professional networking event, The Salt City Shaker. The event takes place on Thursday, October 24th from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm at the CNY Community Foundation located at 431 E. Fayette St. in Downtown Syracuse.
Each year we present The Mover and Shaker award to a young professional in recognition of their outstanding work in the community. Dr. Juhanna Rogers is our 2019 recipient. Dr. Rogers is currently the Director of Community Engagement & Empowerment at CenterState CEO, and is a motivational speaker, commentator, artist, and education activist.
This event is special to us for many reasons. It allows us to share and celebrate the amazing work of our community partners. The event is also a fundraiser for Catholic Charities and all proceeds go back into the programs and services we provide to our neighbors who are most in need. Finally, it’s a great opportunity for community members to meet and collaborate on the important work they do in this community every day.
